Trav-A-Lite Camper Shell?
My boyfriend has a camper shell on his Dodge Dakota made by Trav-A-Lite that is no longer in business. Over the weekend someone tried to break into it. They tried to pull out one of the windows and broke the brackets that held it in. The window isn't broken, it's the frame. He can't get it to stay on because they broke the brackets. He doesn't have any idea what he needs to do and I am trying to help him. Does anyone have any suggestions, I would really appreciate it because he was at my house when it was broken into. Thanks.
Take it to a camper specialist. They can install a new bracket because they are a common bracket. Don't let anyone tell you any different. The company may be out of business, but the part was manufactured by a different company.
