Yes, there is.
To the north of Nittany Mall there are still industries using covered hopper delivery. The railroad doing the work is Nittany & Bald Eagle Railroad.
It connects with Norfolk Southern Railway at both Tyrone and Lock Haven as well as an indirect connection to Canadian Pacific Railway.

Looks like the Corning Glass works is not operating any more. The gypsum plant looks like it is using trucks instead of trains now.
Across from Nittany Mall and to the south, into town [State College, PA], is DORMANT.
The nearest action is to the north where some covered hoppers are being delivered. There is still some action in Bellefonte. But do not know how often.
