Fishing line issue RE: Spiderwire?
I recently purchased some 15lb Spiderwire Camo line for one of my spinning setups. When using the rod with the new line for the first time this weekend it was pretty rough. The line was getting entangled on itself while on the spool & every now & again it would get random knots...
My reel specifies that it can take 6 - 10lb monofilament, & while the Spiderwire is 15lb test, it has the diameter of 4lb monofilament. Did I use too thin a line on my reel thus leading to the mess I now have?
I've never had a problem with Spiderwire before, I have the original moss green 20lb test on another rod & it's simply AMAZING! And although I did have the problems with the Camo line, I still managed to bag four Pike within a half hour & the line stood up! LOL.

did you use a mono backing?if not that is the problem
