Can you use an electric sharpener to sharpen a straight razor?
Such as something like this...

NOOO!!!! use a wet stone and a strop that thing you just shwed me is a piece of junk.... a strop will keep your blade sharp for quite a while but it will need to be re sharpened on a wet stone every once in a while... i unfortunately do not own my own so i take it down to a local knife shop for sharpening...
i know a strop and a blade and all that just a kit alone seems like a hefty investment just to shave but it is well worth it...
the only reason i have yet to buy a wet stone is because you kinda have to know how to sharpen a razor keeping ech side of the blade at a steady 20 degrees during each stroke.. and i would rather take it to a knife shop and have some one whoe deals with knives and blades all day do it..
