Illinois will win this game in a 56-28 blowout. Both teams defenses are really bad, but unlike Michigan, Illinois has an explosive offense to exploit Michigan's weak defense. Look for Juice Williams to pass for 500 plus yards on Michigan's weak secondary, as three Illini receivers exceed the 100 yard mark led by Arrelious Benn's 175 yards. And look for Daniel Dufrene to run roughshod on a Michigan run defense that's given up at least 70 yards toe very starting tailback they've faced. Dufrene had a TD run against Michigan last season. he may have 3 in this game
Like Is aid, Illinois defense is weak, so Michiagn should score about 28 points. But thats not nearly enough to keep up with the offensive explosion that illinois will put on. Look for linebacker Martez Wilson and DE Will Davis to force a couple turnovers, and look for Illinois to send Michigan back to earth in a 4 TD whitewash.
This is depressing, but 2008 is a depressing year to be a Wolverines fan.
