Ping command works (external & internal), internet does not,?
Hi,
I am having some trouble here, my server (Windows 2000 Server) runs routing and remote access, DNS and DHCP, The client PC's all can ping internally via hostnames and Ip addresses, and externally, hostnames and IP addresses. However, when I use internet explorer, I do not get a connection, regardless of whether I put a hostname in the address bar or an IP address. Any ideas? Any fixes?

check if port 80 is blocked in your firewall. Also check if your default gateway is set up correctly.
