How do I figure out what kind of golf irons to buy?
I am determining what kind of golf irons to buy and have a few options. I am a learning golfer but would like to have a set of irons that help my game. Some brands I am considering are Adams, Callaway X20, Callaway Diablo, Taylor Made Burners or nike irons that cost around 300 us dollars. Which are best? Also, I am also looking into buying custom built irons with quality grips and shafts but have knockoff heads/wedges. These iron heads look similar to name brand iron heads but obviously are not.... Is this a good option? I am afraid if I go for knockoff iron heads with good shafts and grips that I will be disappointed but it could save a lot of money and it would be tailored more towards my game.
If you are serious about your game then buy quality. Knock offs are bad for your game, in the long run you will have to purchase a good set. No one should tell you what to buy it's like choosing a woman, what they like you don't like. You do have a lot of options open for buying clubs but it is your choice you make, talk with a golf professional for advice about what you need in a set and what you want to pay.
