Is bartholomew Cubbins actually Jared Leto??

So, here's the thing, the band ( 30 seconds to mars for all those ignorants out there) keeps saying that "Bartholomew Cubbins" directed the "From Yesterday" an "the kill" videos, but there is no actual documentation about him anywhere. And in the dvd that came with the deluxe edition of ABL ( a beautiful lie) Shannon said that jared directed the kill !?!?! And to add to that it can't be a simple coincidence that Bartholomew cubbins is also a dr. seuss character . And also, in the booklet from ABL, jared thanks dr.seuss, why is that??
Can anybody explain this to me??

i think that Jared's crediting his alter-ego, Bartholomew Cubbins (The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins - Dr. Suess) as the director, because he doesn't want people to watch the music video's solely because HE directed them. and also because its fun watching people get confused =]
i think he also thanked Dr. Suess in ABL because Dr. Suess had such a vivid imagination and that might have inspired Jared with his ideas for the music videos and stuff like that...

~also if you go back and watch the "From Yesterday" music video ( full 14 min. version), look on the floor after the map falls,and jared goes to pick it up, there's a copy of "The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins" peeking out from under the couch =]=]
