what about 1)time travel 2) past lives 3) humans as a alien hybrid race 4) blue eyed people from one ancestor?
What are your thoughts about these things? Parallel universes? Time Travel ? Past lives? Humans coming from aliens and blue eyed people coming from a common ancestor? Are these concepts intertwined? Is it possible? Are they mutually exclusive ? How does it relate to intelligent design?
1.) considering the theory that time folds upon itself.. i think it is possible. I've always wondered where time goes.. since it existed (example-1986) it had to go somewhere.
2) past lives- every religion in the world believes in reincarnation in some form. (example that is hard to ignore- the Dalai Lama.)
3)there is merit to the argument that humans are an alien species to this planet. in an ecosystem everything lives in balance. when you introduce a species that is not native to the ecosystem, it has no natural predators. without natural predators the "alien" species soon overpopulates and disrupts or destroys the ecosystem. (example- the Mediterranean fruit fly in CA). humans disrupts and destroys the environment globally. so, it wouldn't be much of a stretch to see humans as possibly aliens.
4)blue eyed people- an interesting theory. somewhat like all red-heads have a common ancestor. since both traits are considered recessive the theory might have merit. I've come to think that blue eyes are dominant rather than recessive. due to the predominant number of them we have in the family. There are several brown eyed parents in this tree and still the blue eyes are outnumbering the brown ones significantly.
5) all the concepts intertwined.. i don't see it.
6) some concepts might be related.. but could be mutually exclusive.
7) parallel universes- due to the theory of matter/antimatter.. there should be an opposite parallel universe.
8)intelligent "grand" design- things work TOO well for it all to be an accident in nature that cascades down.
i personally believe there are no accidents.. all things happen for a reason.
