Umbrella strollers........................?
Well, a friend of mine went to Babies R Us (Macy-ha ha) the other day & checked the weight of this one http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3155458
and it's only 8 lbs. I think there's another one that's 6 lbs. I want a nice light weight umbrella stroller. No need for a basket. A detachable canopy (or not) is ok. And I'd like something $20 or less (like the one above).
I was wondering if any of you have that stroller and what you think of it or what other umbrella strollers are good. I want one that is 8 lbs or less. Do they hold up well?
Sorry. I always forget to say how old my baby is. She will be one on the 15th & is at least 25 lbs.
Oh, and I'm a short person so I wouldn't be hunched over LOL. I'm abt 5' to 5'1".
If you use it regularly the cheaper ones dont last that long and they tend to be for shorter people for some odd reason i was always hunched over. I went through about 5 of them with my oldest daughter. Spending a little extra on a lightweight stroller is worth it rather than buying numerous ones. Its the old adage. "You get what you pay for." My sister got one like this http://wize.com/strollers/p162065-chicco-c6-key-lime#t=14830 isnt the same one she got but it went thru 2 kids and it was still in great condition.
ETA: im 5'4. They are like kid short the cheap ones. And my husb is 6'5 he couldnt even use it...lol well he could was just comical. Most of them are good for up to 40lbs.
