Should I sand bag this week in fantasy football?
I play against my brother who needs a win to help get into the playoffs and I can afford a loss and probably still make it to the playoffs. Plus I know I can beat him with my good players which would put me in better position to win the championship.
It's your team, so you can do what you want with it.
But, two things:
1. You said you will "probably" still make the playoffs.
If you haven't clinched yet, you may kick yourself if you have injuries, or your players go in a funk at the same time and you end up eliminated. Fantasy football is often very unpredictable, and you'll never know what can happen in weeks 12-14.
2. If you make obviously ridiculous changes to your lineup, other managers in your league may take notice.
Especially if this is a money league, this would not be a wise move and may create some bad blood in your league. They could accuse you and your brother of collusion.
My advice is to set your lineup as you normally would, especially if it's a cash league.
